White semi-dry wine "Green Leaf" Riesling created from Riesling grapes grown in Germany in the Rheinhessen region in compliance with organic farming. At the end of the harvest, the fruits are subjected to traditional vinification, which takes place in steel tanks with strict temperature control. The wine is excellent as an aperitif, as well as in combination with fish, seafood, vegetables, white meat, poultry and soft cheeses. The wine is produced by Weinkellerei Hechtsheim GmbH , which was founded in 1971. The company unites 15 wineries. The purpose of the association of winemakers was to promote their products to the world market. In 1986, the company became an independent association with the aim of opening up new marketing opportunities. Various exhibitions and tastings are regularly held on the territory of wineries, thereby allowing anyone to join the culture of wine consumption. Today Weinkellerei Hechtsheim GmbH is a subsidiary of the Le Grand Ches de France group. The Grands Chais de France (GCF) was founded in 1979. GCF is currently the leading French spirits producer with a turnover of around 841 million euros. The main task of the company's management considers the production of a wide range of very high quality wines available to the consumer, so GCF Group branches are present in all significant wine regions of France. The GCF head office and one of the factories are located in Petersbach (Northern Alsace), there are also factories in Bordeaux, Beaujolais, Languedoc-Roussillon and other areas. In addition, to expand the range of wines, the company acquired vineyards and wineries abroad - in the US, Chile, Germany and Spain. Approximately 76% of the company's products are exported.
